In our world, people have different views than our own. If we saw what others see, we could be more empathetic to those different than us. Society doesn't like seeing others on the same level, so if we fought against that, we could see ourselves as better people.
If we saw how others view us, we could pick up on our worst traits and begin to fix them. If you were your friend, would you be insanely outgoing, almost to an annoying extent? Or would you be shy? A lot of the time, we don't see our own faults; however, if we saw them from somebody else's perspective, we could recognize them.
If we compared someone rich and famous to ourselves, we could see what they did right and what we're doing wrong. Maybe it's as simple as not getting your name out there, or maybe that rich person just won the lottery ticket of life.
