Answer:

$22,320

Step-by-step explanation:

1. Understanding

Mean is the average of a given set

2. Solving

We have to find the average of all of these numbers.

How do I find the average?

I add all of the numbers and divide by the number of numbers I added. Example:

(x + x + x + x)/4 or,

(x+x)/2 and examples in numbers:

(3+4)/2 or,

(9+4+8+5+7)/5

See what I mean? Dividing by the number of numbers I have.

Ok, now we know that, we can solve!

Here is the equation for this problem:

(24,600+19,000+33,000+15,000+20,000)/5 (We have 5 numbers)

We have to do Parentheses First

(24,600+19,000+33,000+15,000+20,000)/5 --> 111,600/5

111,600/5 = 22,320

22,320 is the average number of all of the numbers, which is the mean

How would I do this?
Lelu [443]
I'm not sure about part B, but part A will have the answer "if Ron eats lunch today, then he will drink a glass of milk" (without quotes of course)

The idea is that we have these arguments in symbolic form
P = Ron eats lunch today
Q = Ron eats a sandwich
R = Ron will drink a glass of milk

The format is
"If P then Q" ----> "if Q then R"  so therefore "If P then R"

We see that P leads to Q, then Q leads to R. So overall P leads to R. We connect them as a chain of sorts. We can skip over Q since we know the first point will lead to the last. Think of it as a shortcut of sorts.

Select the correct answer.
IceJOKER [234]

Answer: Option D. y+2x=3

Solution

If a line with a slope of -2:

Slope: m=-2

crosses the y-axis at (0,3):

(0,3)=(0,b)→b=3

What is the equation of the line?

y=mx+b

Replacing the known values:

y=-2x+3

Adding 2x both sides of the equation:

y+2x=-2x+3+2x

y+2x=3
