English

Answer:

The sonnet is an effective way for Romeo and Juliet to speak when they first meet for two reasons. First, sonnets were often about love. Therefore, it is fitting that they would speak in a sonnet when they first meet. Second, a sonnet is a 14-line poem. When they first meet, Romeo and Juliet share a sonnet, as their lines are distributed over the 14 lines. Their words join together to form a single poem, making this the second reason it is fitting for them to speak in sonnet.

What kind of creative story can I write using these words:
Tamiku [17]
There was once a detective who had perused a terrible scene at a house. Sad to say, the type of situation he had to take care was quite a banal one but, also a very implicit one. It was very imminent that the father had done the abuse to the mother; this was was easily assumed due to the fact the kinds were 3 to 4 years old. The detective has a very strong antipathy feeling towards these type of cases but, that is part of his job.
I hope this helps and makes sense. If it doesn't you kinda get the concept?

Why do words with negative connotations have negative connotations?
kumpel [21]
In some cases like the word vice, the negative connotation stems from a direct definition of the word(vice means wicked, but another definition is 'a substitute for' so 'vice president'). In other cases, word may be used in a culture to identify a group or individual that is portrayed negatively, thus modifying the inherent definition of the word to better portray how society thinks of the word.

How does Langston Hughes incorporate meter into his poetry?
Zielflug [23.3K]

He incorporates it to reflect a blues musical timing.

A signature of Hughes's poetic style is his meter. It reflects the rhythms of Harlem's jazz and blues during his time period, as well as black folk rhythms. Hughes's poetry is reflective of the African American culture in, not only its content, but also its rhythms.

The other two options are simply incorrect. He did not writing jingles for depression medication has nothing to do with how he incorporates meter. While the first does indicate the blues sound, it's not completely correct.
