1 answer:
Dimas [21]2 years ago
8 0

Answer:

3.

Explanation:

The last sentence is "Because there are so many benefits to a vegetarian diet, it is worth it is worth it to at least try eating more vegetarian meals to see if it works best for you."

So it does not bring up new point or new idea. There is no statistics to back up the argument.  So the only choice left:

3 It emphasizes the importance of the topic

is the correct answer.

One critic called wiesel "part conscience...and part warning signal." how is that appropriate?
irinina [24]
The truth for this is that Wiesel is like a conscience, reminding people of the evil of persecuting others. Also he acts as a warning signal because he is cautioning others to be on guard against intol<span>erance. It is then more than fitting to call wiesel part conscience and part warning signal. </span>

Which sentence correctly uses an objective case pronoun? A. Did him and Natalie receive the package? B. You and her cooked a del
Gekata [30.6K]

Answer:

D. The workman directed the drivers and us around the road construction.

Explanation:

The list of objective case pronouns includes:

<em>me, him her, it, you, us, them. </em>

In a sentence, they should be used as objects.

Option A uses <em>him</em> as a subject, which is incorrect.

Option B uses <em>her</em> as a subject, which is incorrect.

Option C uses <em>him</em> as a predicate nominative, i.e. a subject complement, which is also incorrect.

Only option D correctly uses an objective case pronoun, us, as an object.

Read the passage and answer the question below. Childhood Obesity Obesity has been called the new American epidemic by many doct
Elden [556K]

I think the supporting material in this speech is poor. The student gives a lot of information about statistics, which is very helpful, but doesn't give details about which organisms studied the topic. Where did the student found these statistics? Who did them? Are they specialized in the subject?

The student mentions the doctors by saying "many doctors". Who are these doctors, which are their names, which are their specialties?

The student after says that there are "<em>other institutions</em>" that suggest that a child whose body weight is at least 20% higher than a child of a similar height is obese. Which are these "<em>other institutions</em>"?

Then, the student takes the discussed issue a little lightly when saying "<em>No matter what the exact definition</em>" after saying how complicated this illness is. Does the student think it is not important to know the exacts definition? If not, who says that?

I think this speech has to have probationary documentation. All these facts and statics mentioned don't have support. The student doesn't name even one of the organizations, doctors, authorities specialized in the subject he or she is referring to.

It is a very serious topic, about a serious disease, and has to be addressed with consciousness. If not, it seems like everything is the student's opinion and we know what he or she is saying is probably true. The student has to name every document he or she read in order to give this information.
