A compound sentence is a sentence with more than one subject or predicate. It connects two independent clauses usually connected by a conjunction which would be a word such as “and” or “but.”
answer a and c are both facts, and answer d is a statement. answer b is biased because we are not informed whether or not the employees' wages can be considered to be low
