I think it is somewhat of a necessity to perform medical tests on animals to develop and research for cures to treat human diseases. That being said, this does not warrant animal abuse or harm in any way and testing on animals becomes inhumane when they’re cruelly and rigorously tested upon for perhaps unimportant research. By which I’m referring to cosmetics where it is possible to develop new products without testing on animals. I believe testing on animals should only be a viable option if no other alternatives are available and the drug being developed is of high significance that has the potential to improve life quality or save lives. As with everything, there is a fine line between testing on animals for the benefit of humans and the sadistic experimentation on animals that could be avoided and that is a line that should not be crossed.

Answer:

I think that doctors should be able to perform medical tests because they have studied harder than a lot of people and that they are also helping people every day with medical problems

Explanation:

Biomedical research is a difficult process, to say the least. The human body is the most complex machine yet encountered, consisting of trillions of cells, each containing billions of molecules, many of which are composed of tens of thousands of atoms. These molecular machines perform their designated tasks with incredible precision, working within a stunningly interdependent environment, from the level of molecules communicating with each other over minute distances right up to entire organ systems interacting with one another. Biomedical researchers need tools capable of mimicking this level of complexity. The past century or so has seen an explosion in the availability of investigative tools – cell cultures, non-invasive imaging, computer models – these are all powerful techniques in humanity’s arsenal in the war against disease and ignorance, but none of them fully replicates the intricacy of a living organism.

How and why do ethical dilemmas challenge and develop our identity?
Zarrin [17]

Answer:

Ethical dilemmas challenge and develop our identity by showing what lengths we as humans are willing to go through to do the right thing, it shows how loyal and persistent we are. It shows each person's personality and grit as they choose different responses.

Ethical dilemmas are something that requires a lot of thinking, high risks, and is something where you can easily do the wrong thing but you choose not to, those are the times you see the true person. To find someone's identity and watch as their identity grows you have to put them in situations where their identity does grow, if it doesn't challenge you, it doesn't change you.

There's a quote by Stephen Fry that says, "You are who you are when nobody's watching.”

That is when your true identity comes out, when you choose the right or wrong thing and nobody will ever know about it.

Why Goodreads company bad for books
pychu [463]
The Goodreads company is the worst place to browse for books because it isn’t reliable and you’ll find an overabundance of Goodread trolls, or people who attack books because they are just negative individuals.
