But as a moral dogmatic theologian, Aquinas goes beyond what Aristotle called "intellectual and moral virtue", as the most desireable "end" or goal for human beings, which makes humans most happy, to "speculating" on God's goodness, beauty and other attributes in eternity as the ultimate good (producing human happiness) for humans in a "beatific"/happy afterlife --- commonly known as seeing God in heaven.
