The key indicates the following information: Oil production (in barrels per day) between 0 to 100 barrels/day is indicated by the color dark blue. Oil production between 100 and 10,000 barrels per day is indicated by the color orange. Oil production between 10,000 and 100,000 barrels per day is indicated by the color pink. Oil production above 100,000 barrels per day is indicated by the color light blue. For areas were oil production information is not available, the color light green is used. Starting in South America, the following countries are light blue: Argentina, Brazil, Ecuador, Colombia, and Venezuela. Of the remaining countries in South America, Peru, Bolivia, Suriname, and Chile are colored pink. The remaining countries in South America are colored light green including Uruguay, Paraguay, Guyana, and French Guiana. In Central America, the following are indicated: Guatemala and Cuba are pink; El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, and Panama are light green. How does John jay expose the hyporcritical nature of slavery in his 1786 quote?
spayn [35]

We perceive that a great breach has been made in the moral and physical systems by the introduction of moral and physical evil; how or why, we know not; so, however, it is, and it certainly seems proper that this breach should be closed and order restored.

That men should pray and fight for their own freedom, and yet keep others in slavery, is certainly acting a very inconsistent, as well as unjust and, perhaps, impious part.

It is much to be wished that slavery may be abolished. The honour of the States, as well as justice and humanity, in my opinion, loudly call upon them to emancipate these unhappy people. To contend for our own liberty, and to deny that blessing to others, involves an inconsistency not to be excused.
