\huge\mathcal{AnsweR}

Natural resources are naturally occurring materials that are useful to man or could be useful under conceivable technological, economic or social circumstances or supplies drawn from the earth, supplies such as food, building and clothing materials, fertilizers, metals, water and geothermal power. A cylinder and a cone have the same base and height. The cylinder can hold about 4,712 Centimeters cubed of sand. Jared says tha
stiks02 [169]

Answer:

Volume of cone is not 1,178 cubic centimeter

Explanation:

Given:

Radius of cone and cylinder = r

Height of cone and cylinder = h

Volume of cylinder = 4,712 cubic centimeter

Find:

Volume of cone is 1,178 cubic centimeter or not

Computation:

For same radius and height;

Volume of cone = (1/3)(Volume of cylinder)

Volume of cone = (1/3)(4,712)

Volume of cone = 1,570.67 cubic centimeter

So,

Volume of cone is not 1,178 cubic centimeter
