1. discharging of waste products from industries into the water bodies.
2. The emptying of sewage into water bodies
3. Eutrophication caused by man when water erosion carried chemicals such as fertilizers and pesticides into water bodies.
4. The occurrence of oil spillage in waters during crude oil extraction.
