The earth, isnt over run with bacteria, but its almost everywhere, but cold climates. bacteria is kept under check, especially the bacteria in your food, in your eviroment, and in you yourself. some bacteria is needed though, but if it gets out of control, a doctor, or someone like a nurse, to take a look.
