The supply paper comes in sheets that are one 130 cm x 220 cm how many envelopes can accompany make from each sheet of paper
ASHA 777 [7]

This question is incomplete, the complete question is;

An envelope company has redesigned their large envelopes.

The new designs is shown below; The missing diagram of the envelope is uploaded along this answer below.

a) Determine the area of the envelope

b) The supply paper comes in sheets that are one 130 cm x 220 cm how many envelopes can accompany make from each sheet of paper

Answer:

a) Area of the envelope is 1450 cm²

b) The company can make 19 envelopes from each of the sheet paper.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given the data in the question,

From the diagram of the envelope below;

it can be divided into 3 part

First part is the Triangle, Middle part is a rectangle and the last part is a smaller rectangle.

From the image;

First Part

Base of the Triangle is 30 cm while the height is 14 cm

so Area Of the Triangle = \frac{1}{2} × base × height

=  \frac{1}{2} × 30 cm × 14 cm = 210 cm²

Middle Part;

Length of the middle Rectangle = 20 cm

while the breadth = ( 30cm + 1 cm + 1 cm ) = 32 cm

So Area of the Middle Rectangle = Length × Breadth

= 20 cm × 32 cm = 640 cm²

Last part;

Length of the Rectangle = 20 cm

while the breadth = 30cm

So Area of the Last Rectangle = Length × Breadth

= 20 cm × 30 cm = 600 cm²

∵ Total AREA = 210 cm² + 640 cm² + 600 cm² = 1450 cm²

Therefore, the area of the envelope is 1450 cm²

b)

given that; supply paper comes in sheets that are 130 cm by 220 cm,

how many envelopes can accompany make from each sheet of paper.

Number of enveloped that can be made = Area of Supply paper / Area of envelope

N = ( 130 cm × 220 cm ) / 1450 cm²

N = 28600 cm² / 1450 cm²

N = 19.724 ≈ 19   { We round down, else the supply paper wont be enough }

Therefore, The company can make 19 envelopes from each of the sheet paper.

Help asap please i dont even know what to do
sp2606 [1]

Answer:

m∠SWX=39°, and m∠VWY=51°

Step-by-step explanation:

∠XWU and ∠VWY are vertical angles. Vertical angles are congruent.

∠XWU=∠VWY

we are given ∠XWU=(7x+2)° and ∠VWY=(4x+23)°, so:

7x+2=4x+23

3x+2=23

3x=21

x=7

Now substitute x for 7 in both expressions to get the measures of the angles.

∠XWU=(7(7)+2)°=(49+2)°=51°

∠VWY is also 51° because it is congruent to ∠XWU, but just to make sure:

∠VWY=(4(7)+23)°=(28+23)°=51°

we also need ∠SWX. We can see it makes a right angle with ∠XWU, so their sum is 90°.

∠SWX+51=90

∠SWX=39°
