A political party is an organized group of people who have the same ideology, or who otherwise have the same political positions, and who field candidates for elections.
There are two sides of the party- democrats and republicans.
Democrats support voting rights and minority rights, including LGBT rights, multiculturalism, and religious secularism.
Republicans believe that free markets and individual achievement are the primary factors behind economic prosperity. They also believe private spending is usually more efficient than government spending. Republicans generally oppose the estate tax.
