V=l*w*h V=1/2*b*h*l

V of the rectangular block: 15*5*8 = 600

V of the triangular prism--it's easiest to solve half of it, then just multiply that answer by 2: 1/2*5*7*9 = 157.5

When you double it, it cancels out the 1/2

157.5*2=315

315+600=915
