Why countries with high proportion of their population involved in agriculture are usually poor?

Geography

4 0

Answer:

Pyramids, monopolies and national socio-economic powers.

Explanation:

Farmers and peasants, although they are the primary producers of agricultural products, do not get all the profits, since in most countries, the real beneficiaries of these productions are the traders, suppliers and contractors of these people. The prestigious companies and corporations are the ones who really profit (i.e. supermarkets, stores, governors and transporters), since in their terms and conditions, they take advantage of the farmers, and they, having only the option of accepting to sell, continue in the same cycle.

Without the transporters or companies, the farmers would not sell anything, so in order to do so, they accept conditions that benefit others, but not themselves. In society, the rich are not those who work the hardest, or those who contribute the most, but those who work the smartest. (whether it is illegal or not)

Plate boundaries are often grouped into two different categories. Subduction zones are examples of ___________ boundaries while
Fittoniya [83]

Answer:

Convergent and divergent plate boundaries

Explanation:

In a convergent plate boundary, two plates move towards each other. Due to the impact, the heavier tectonic plate subducts beneath the lighter plate. This results in the formation of a subduction zone, and there forms a trench above this zone. The rocks at greater depths, melts and mixes up with the magma and eventually rises upward, towards the surface in the over-riding plate, giving rise to the formation of volcanoes and volcanic arcs.

In a divergent plate boundary, two plates move away from one another. Due to this opposite motion of plates, there occur cracks on the seafloor and land areas, from where the magma comes out. With continuous spreading, there forms a ridge, which is commonly known as the mid-oceanic ridge. This type of plate boundary is responsible for the formation and expansion of the ocean basin. For example, the mid-Atlantic ridge.
