Which statement about poetry is accurate?
taurus [48]

The accurate statement about poetry is A. The way a poem is divide can affect its overall meaning.

EXPLANATION:

Poetry has many definitions. One of them is the definition of poetry based on its purpose. Poetry or prose is written and used to argue, narrate, describe, and define. It is benefited for all of these purposes, but on top of that, the purpose of poetry is beyond the literal. Poetry is used to evoke a feeling, an idea, or a reaction toward the readers or listeners. Poetry is also commonly used to surprise the readers into an experience about humanity, the world, nature, from a new perspective.  The way a poem is divided can affect its overall meaning.

Poetry is characterized into three types:

•    Lyrical poetry

Lyrical poetry has the most appeal. It is associated with music because the term lyrical is used to indicate a song that is accompanied by the musical instrument. Lyrical poetry is also categorized as a non-narrative poem. It features a single speaker whose goal is to share a mood, state of mind, and attitude toward the readers.

•    Dramatic poetry

Dramatic poetry is poetry that contains one or more characters. It also includes action. The purpose of dramatic poetry is to involve the readers in a condition or experience. It also used to create tension, expectation, immediacy, and conflict.

•    Narrative poetry

Narrative poetry is a kind of poetry that tells a story. The examples are the epic, the ballad, the romance, and the tale in verse because, in that poem, there is a story to tell.

NEED ENGLISH HELP VERY QUICKLY!!!!
gregori [183]

The dance squad had eight members when it won the competition.

A relative clause can be used as an adjective or an adverb. Relative clauses must contain both a subject and a verb. They also begin with a relative pronoun (question words and that). The relative clause in the last option is "when it won the competition". It starts with "when" which is a relative pronoun. It describes when the action takes place which makes the entire clause an adverb. It has a subject "it" and a verb "won". Options B and C should be immediately thrown out because they do not have a relative pronoun. Option A does not work because there is no subject after "that".
