Criminal rehabilitation is the process of helping inmates grow stronger and change their behavior, allowing them to isolate themselves from the many factors that made them commit a crime in the first place. This causes a majority of them to commit crimes so they can go back to prison where they know how to survive. Studies and research has consistently shown that time spent in prison does not successfully rehabilitate most prisoners/inmates, and most of the criminals return to a life of almost immediately.
