In the final paragraph, Anne Frank is referred to as “a symbol for the lost promise of the children who died in the Holocaust.” means that Anne Frank was the first person who wrote about the holocaust. She wrote that how did she felt and the things that happens to them during the Holocaust. She said that they had been hiding for a long year but hence they got arrested. In her diary she wrote about her ambitions and goals that she couldn’t fulfill during her life. She talks about her incomplete life where she did not get a chance to establish her future.
