How are two points of views differ from each other?

English

A point of view or POV is how a person sees something in their eyes.

For example, let's say that you get a dog, Fluffy. When you bring it home, in your point of view, all you see is a cuddly, cute furry lovable dog.

However, in your mom's point of view, all she might see is a messy, hairy, animal that will probably rip up stuff (this is made up, so don't judge me). These are examples of points of view.

There are different types of points of view:

First-person

 • uses I, me.

First Person Peripheral

 • uses I.

Second Person

 • uses you pronoun

Third Person (two categories)

1. Third Person Limited

 • uses he, she, and they.

2. Third Person Omniscient

 • uses he, she, and it narration
 • uses a sees all, knows all narration.

Hope this helps! Please let me know if you need more help, or if you think my answer is incorrect. Brainliest would be MUCH appreciated. Have a great day!

Perspective is how the characters view and process what's happening within the story. Here's how it compares with point of view: Point of view focuses on the type of narrator used to tell the story. Perspective focuses on how this narrator perceives what's happening within the story.

Based on the passage above, the theme that is evident in the story is loss of innocence.

From an early age, a child retains his innocence and lacks an understanding of the value of compassion. As a child becomes older and more mature, their innocence eventually fades away, and they become more sympathetic.

Children who are innocent frequently solely consider themselves and their needs. As kids get older, exposure to other individuals in the world might help them develop empathy and broaden their perspective. The central idea of Eugenia Collier's novel Marigolds is that young people lose their innocence as they develop empathy for others.

Thus, the correct option is A.
