Please note that the type of letter described above is a Semi-Formal Letter. This is because the letter is mainly informative hence not out rightly personal.

How do you write a Semi-formal Letter?

A semi-formal letter should:

  • have your address on the top right corner
  • have the date of the letter below your address
  • start with a salutation such as "Dear Mr. Ricky,"
  • have a subject that says: How to use tools of Web Design
  • have an introduction that is not too informal or formal either. E.g. "This letter is to educate you on how to use the three tools of web design namely..:"
  • have a body that is clear, and specific. Remember your intention is simply to educate and inform. Nothing too long or fancy.
  • have a great closing. You may use "Best wishes" "or "Best Regards" since this is a semi-informal letter.

The last item should be your name and your signature. Your signature should come before your name.

Slav-nsk [51]

Answer:

The question violates the requirement of clarity or unambiguity.

Explanation:

The science of designing appropriate questions comes up when one is in designing a questionnaire for surveys.

The guidelines for writing questions are given below:

  1. Questions must always be designed with the objective of the research in mind;
  2. They must be concise, direct to the point and easy to understand. In other words, they must be unambiguous.
  3. They must be designed to elicit objective answers, not emotional responses. Emotional responses may not come from a lucid mind.
  4. Questions must follow each other sequentially and logically.
  5. If the questions are closed-ended, they must contain options from which the respondents can select
  6. Whether closed-ended or not, the researcher must as much as possible put themselves in the shoes of the respondents such that any inhibitions from properly or correctly answer the questions are removed.

Cheers!

Oduvanchick [21]

Answer:

The correct answer is Gateway will be built differently than the International Space Station.

Explanation:

The central idea of this extract is to demonstrate that the Gateway will be built in a totally different way from ISS (International Space Station).

It even begins by saying that Gateway will be smaller, and from there on provides details of its construction and compares them to those of the ISS. Gateway will have five modules while ISS is made up of 15.

Then it provides more details of how the Gateway construction will be.

Given this information we can say that the correct answer is: Gateway will be built differently than the International Space Station.
