  3. They must be designed to elicit objective answers, not emotional responses. Emotional responses may not come from a lucid mind.
  4. Questions must follow each other sequentially and logically.  
  5. If the questions are closed-ended, they must contain options from which the respondents can select
  6. Whether closed-ended or not, the researcher must as much as possible put themselves in the shoes of the respondents such that any inhibitions from properly or correctly answer the questions are removed.
