Answer:

Your answer would be:

57.75 or 57 3/4

(I will show how many of each length of twine that is on the graph)

Point 2 1/4:

2

Point 2 3/4:

4

Point 3:

1

Point 3 1/2:

2

Point 3 3/4:

3

Point 4:

1

Point 4 1/4:

4

We can show how much length in total Stevie used with the following equation:

(2 1/4 x 2) + (2 3/4 x 4) + ( 3 x 1 ) + ( 3 1/2 x 2 ) + (3 3/4 x 3 ) + (4 x 1 ) + (4 1/4 x 4)

Each smaller equation in paraphrases shows how much of each length of twine at each point with x's on the number line. Altogether it would equal 57.75 or 57 3/4.

what operation do you use to convert from a larger measurement unit to a smaller measurement unit? Explain why
kolbaska11 [484]

Answer:

Use multiplication and dividing.

Step-by-step explanation:

If you want to convert to a smaller unit, you must multiply.

For example...

4 Feet to Inches:

4 * 12 =48 inches

2 Yards to Inches:

2 * 3 = 6 feet

6 * 12 = 72 inches

If you want to convert to a larger unit, you must divide.

336 Inches to Feet:

336/12=28 feet

756 Inches to Yards:

756/12=63 feet

63/3=21 yards

a polygon has the following coordinates: A(-4,-5), B(-2,-3), C(4,-3), D(6,-2), E6,6), F(-1,6), G(-4,2). Find the length of GA.
kolezko [41]
GA = 7.

We use the distance formula to answer this:

d=\sqrt{(y_2-y_1)^2+(x_2-x_1)^2}
\\
\\=\sqrt{(2--5)^2+(-4--4)^2}
\\
\\=\sqrt{(2+5)^2+(-4+4)^2}=\sqrt{7^2+0^2}=\sqrt{49}=7

Explain why triangle pqs is isosceles
barxatty [35]

Answer

By using the exterior angle property

The measure of exterior angle is equal to the sum of two opposite interior angles.

In ∠QSR is exterior angle.

∠SPQ and ∠SQP are the opposite interior angle of the exterior angle ∠QSR .

Thus

∠QSR = ∠SPQ + ∠SQP

As given in the diagram

∠QSR = 2x , ∠SQP = x

Put in the above

2x = x + ∠SQP

∠SQP = 2x - x

∠SQP = x

Thus

∠SPQ = ∠SQP = x

By using the property

if two angles are equal in a triangle than their opposite sides are also equal .

Thus

PS = SQ

Two sides of triangle are equal .

therefore Δ PQS is a isosceles triangle .

Which is equivalent to |20|?
Annette [7]

Hey there!

Usually when people are trying to find absolute value we are trying to REMOVE your NEGATIVE in FRONT of your given number and make them almost positive (e.g. 0)

|20| = (positive) 20 because it’s the absolute value of itself ; if your equation was |-20| you would have to say your absolute value would be 20

Answer: |20| = 20 ☑️

Good luck on your assignment and enjoy your day!
