Slaves were expected to work for as long as the sun was shining. 10 to 16 hours of hard work were imposed on slaves who had to make sure their masters’ crops were taken care of. The slave was at the disposal or even at the mercy of his master.

When you get past through the life story Andrew Jackson, you will become more acquainted with that his time of being a president is known as the Era of the Rise of the Common Man. Despite the fact that he viewed himself as a 'common man', he made the most incredible office in the three parts of government out of office of president. He was an insightful man with solid political issues.
