Answer:

Hopefully this applies to your question. There are a few main categories of antibiotic resistance, enzymatic degradation of antibacterial drugs,  alteration of bacterial proteins that are antimicrobial targets as well as changes in membrane permeability to antibiotics. Some of antibiotic resistance bacteria are called methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), vancomycin-resistant Enterococcus (VRE), multi-drug-resistant Mycobacterium tuberculosis (MDR-TB) and carbapenem-resistant Enterobacteriaceae (CRE) gut bacteria. I hope this helps!

UkoKoshka [18]

Answer:

Explanation:

From the question, Harry seem to have forgotten that It's the CO2 (carbondioxide) level not the O2 (oxygen)level that gives rise to the urge to breathe. That is to say that once the CO2 level in the blood is high, the brain will trigger a breathing response, that will cause the person(Harry) to try to gasp for air. Also, Harry is jeopardizing his time and life because Hyperventilation itself reduces the CO2 concentration of the blood to below normal level, this makes the bloods pH value to raise, this in turn causes the constriction of the blood vessels that supply the brain, and prevents the transportation of certain electrolytes necessary for the function of the nervous system.

Whenever Hakim is at a party, he generally does not hear all of the conversations around him. However, if someone suddenly says
Semmy [17]

Answer:

Is selective.

Explanation:

The fact that attention is selective means that we can focus on something in particular and turn off all the other things that we perceive in an environment. This is helpful when we want to focus on one thing, like listen to our professor, so we do not pay attention to what is going on in the room like mates talking, someone chewing, the noise outside, etc.
