Explanation:

Appellate are the part of the American judicial system that manage for listen and going over appeals from legal cases that have already been seen/heard in a trial-level or other lower court.

There are 13 appellate courts that sit below the U.S. Supreme Court, also known as U.S. Courts of Appeals.

A bench trial is tried to a judge only thus, there's no jury.

Hence the answers are:

What issue does Nicodemus address with the Jewish authorities in Capernaum, the town he visits? What problem related to major lo
Artemon [7]

Nicodemus helped to address the issues of Tax with the Jewish authorities in Capernaum which was the town he visited.

Who is Nicodemus?

In the bible, the man was an early follower of Jesus Christ and was uniquely mentioned only in the fourth gospel of the Gospel of John.

The Gospel of John described Nicodemus as a Pharisee and a member of the Sanhedrin (the Jewish Council) in Jerusalem at the time of the trial and crucifixion of Jesus of Nazaret.

While Nicodemus and his wife were traveling in a horse-drawn carriage, they were interrupted by a Roman (Quintus) who goes up to the carriage and introduces himself as the Praetor of Capernaum.

The Praetor of Capernaum asks Nicodemus for his help with making the Jews pay taxes. In exchange, Quintus says, he will support the Pharisees against their competitors.
