Here is the correct chronological order of gilded age evaluation: 
1) Boss tweed becomes head of Tammany Hall. William Magear Tweed was an American politician that is famous for being a head of the Democratic Party Political machine. In 1858 he became a major member of Tammany Hall which was a new political organization that played a big role in controlling New York City.<span>
 
2) </span><span>Law officials break up the Tweed Ring.  In 1871 the tweed ring scandal occurred when William Magear Tweed made his idea of corrupt group come true. He formed it in order to defraud New York City through the construction of the City Courthouse. His campaign tool 13 million dollars from taxpayers while the construction cost only 3 million dollars.

3) </span>Rutherford B. Hayes becomes president. In 1877 the United States welcomed its 19th president who is known due to the fact that he put an end to Army support for Republican state governments in the South. He also tried to sort out all the divisions from the Civil War and Era of Reconstruction.

4) <span>President James Garfield Assassinated. It happened in 1881, at the time when he owned the position of 20th president of the United States for only 4 months. He was shot by an American lawyer ,Charles Julius Guiteau, who was angry with Garfield because he ignored all the job applications made by Guiteau.

5) </span><span>Congress passes Pendleton Civil Service Act. In 1883, 47th United States Congress enacted a federal law that was aimed to to regulate and improve the civil service of the United States. The main change that this act provided was that the president was allowed to decide which positions could be subject to the act and which could not

6) </span><span>Mckinley Tariff raises tariffs to highest level yet. In 1890 United States Congress with the head of William McKinley enacted a law called the McKinley Tariff. The 25th president of the United States raised protective tariffs in order to move along American industry, by raising the average duty on imports up to 50%.</span>
