When it comes to parenthetical citations, I am going to assume that you are using MLA guidelines. If so, it is only necessary to cite the author's last name, followed by the page number, with no parentheses between them. The last choice is the only one that just gives the last name, so it is correct.
Me, I don’t think that the age should be changed. This is because people of today are becoming less and less mature. Voting is a big deal. And many people don’t take it as serious as they should. It’s something that should be taking as pride. When people vote not just their vote matters. The vote of the people should be for the people. Moving the age to 16 is saying the we should move the age of drinking to 16. Voting is bigger and more life changing event then drinking. The age to drink is 21. Your brian should be at a right age to understand what you are actually going to do. If anything I think that the age should be moved to 21. Im a 14 year old American girl that is proud of her county and the place that I call home. I want it to stay that way. So if I have to wait a couple extra years to vote then so be it. At least I know that my county, family, friends, and even neighbors are safe. I understand that many people don’t agree. There wanting to be able to go on there social media and post pictures of them voting. That isn’t what we need. I get where people are coming from there is a lot of 16 years olds having kids and living on there own. But there is a lot more that aren’t then are.
