Type the alliterative words from this line. The constant cry of the Chesterton’s cat echoed in our ears.
Nesterboy [21]
I would say that "constant cry" and "Chesterton's cat" are the obvious ones. However "echoed in our ears" is a pretty subtle one that you can definitely make a solid argument for.

Which is the best correction of the clause fragment?
Kitty [74]
Hello, the correct answer would be either A or D. B cannot be correct because it still remains a fragment. The same case is with C. A might be correct in the following sense: Since, they had traveled often. "Since" meaning - after that. And D might also be correct because if you delete "since", you are left with - "They had traveled often", which is a completely correct and completed sentence.

PLEASE help me guys :)
kolbaska11 [484]

so the answer is 15°

the circle is 360°

one green angle is 50°

so 4 green angles equals 200°

so 360 minus 200 equals 60.

so 60° angle. and as a result the rest of the angles are 60° of the circle. and so each of the angles are... 15° if the 60 is divided by 4.

Which sentence uses an example of figurative language?
Eddi Din [679]

The correct answer should be C. The smell of bacon and eggs was my alarm clock on cold mornings.

To help you in the future, just remember that figurative language is essentially just a statement that isn't literal. In A and B, both of those things actually happened. However, for C, bacon and eggs didn't start ringing an alarm to wake them up.
