Answer the following question in 3-4 complete sentences.
Artyom0805 [142]

Answer:

Explanation:

Artists used rich colors and shadows to describe the texture of many materials and objects in the piece.

He used gold to paint the laurel behind Napoleon and on his hands, and the textures on these two objects look as they are made from rich, thick material, so it looks elegant and expensive.

The fur on the collar looks massive and full, ornaments look lush and the texture of the robe seems heavy and full. We can see that there are plenty of expensive materials judging by the ways they are painted. We can also see the material painted in gold, which adds up to the idea of value.

All of these plentiful and grand-painted textures make the clothes and surroundings of Napoleon seem rich, fruitful, and high class. It proves the effect of elegance and wealth, which adds up to Napoleon’s power. Therefore, we can conclude that painting these opulent textures so skillfully served the purpose of presenting the capacity and potential of Napoleon as the leader.

4. i would have thought climax, therefore i sadly do not know this one for sure, but for a solid guess it would be rising action. -or exposition- ***Sorry about this one, its quite tricky to me***

5. resolution. (because it is ending the story)

6. climax (everything is changing, its about to become the falling action)

7. rising action. (Because everything is being sorted out and explained. It contains many important events that will soon become more important to the reader later on in the story.)

Describe two ways that Buddhist art of the Gandhara style was influenced by the ancient Greeks. Could someone possibly answer th
ElenaW [278]

Answer:

The Gandhara School or Greco-Buddhist School of art was inspired on Greco-Roman standards.

Gandhara Art shows the ancients Greeks influence by many ways:

Greek god as protection: Buddha is always under the protection of Hercules (Greek god)

The Artistic beauty: Buddha with the same appearance as Apollo (the god of the sun)

Explanation:

Alexander brought from Greece his soldiers with Greek religious, ideas and the art, specifically the sculptures of Olympian gods.

The indigenous religion was Buddhism.

But the influence Greeks create a challenge, as Indians started to turn to the conquerors religion. As consequence, in an area called Gandhara, the Buddhists started creating their own sculptures.

But in the lack of a prior indigenous sculptural tradition, they imitate their Greek rivals. The result was an impressive Greek-influenced Buddhist sculptural design.
