I dont understand but here is a example how it may look like.
Given: 160.5 in²=area of paralellogram
7.5 in = height
b = ?
Let us work out for the missing base. Basically, the formula in finding the area of a parallelogram is A= b × h. Since base is missing, we will use b= A/h where, area is divided by the measure of the height.
so,
b= A/ h
= 160.5 inch² ÷ 7.5 inch
= 21.4 inch
Therefore base has the measure of 21.4 inches.
Check:
A= b × h
= (21.4 inch)(7.5 inch)
A= 160.5 inches²
I believe the answer is $45.75.
I hope this helps.
If you would like an explanation of how I got this, please reply.
