Answer:

the first one would actually negative because to the left is negative and to the right is positive. and you got the y wrong, that is actually a 2 because you dont include the line you count from, making it (-3,2).

the second one would be perfectly correct.

the third one is actually (-2,-2) and i have no idea how you got that answer, how you would count it 0, its to the left -2 and down -2.

the fourth one, would be actually (-6,-1), remember, a point goes (x,y)

Which computation should be done last 2x9 -3x5+4?
SVETLANKA909090 [29]
2 x 9 - 3 x 5 + 4

In math/s we have the rule called BEDMAS
(a.k.a. BODMAS, BIDMAS, PEDMAS, etc)

Brackets
Exponent
Division
Multiplication
Addition
Subtraction

We go from top to bottom of the list of rules for every math equation. There’s just one exception, addition and subtraction are treated equally, and so when we have an equation with just addition and subtraction, we work left to right

2 x 9 - 3 x 5 + 4

We have no brackets and no exponents, and there’s nothing to divide.
So, we do multiplication
18 - 15 + 4

If you remember, addition and subtraction are treated the same. Therefore, we work left to right.
18 - 15 + 4 = 7

You can type your question into goorgle or a calculator, and you’ll get 7!

Which function will have the steepest graph? y = –2x y =-1/2 x y = 3/2x y =5/2 x
timofeeve [1]
The steepest graph is gonna have the largest slope....but u have to use the absolute value of the slopes to compare

y = -2x.....slope is -2....| -2 | = 2
y = -1/2x...slope is -1/2....| -1/2 | = 1/2
y = 3/2x....slope is 3/2 (or 1 1/2)...| 1 1/2} = 1 1/2
y = 5/2x...slope is 5/2 (or 2 1/2)...| 2 1/2| = 2 1/2

so the steepest graph is : y = 5/2x

646464 is 444 times the difference between Sarah's age, aaa, and 444444. Assume Sarah is older than 444444.
larisa86 [58]

Please check your questions after you copy-paste!

Let a be Sarah's age. We know that the difference between Sarah's age and 44 -----> a-44

...Multiplied by 4 ----> 4(a-44)

equals 64-----> 4(a-44)=64

To solve the equation, we divide both sides by 4:

a-44=16

And add 44 to both sides:

a=60
