How is transformation in bacteria most accurately described? assimilation of external dna into a cell the creation of a strand o
erma4kov [3.2K]
The definition of transformation in bacteria is described by the first statement: transformation is the assimilation of external dna into the bacterial cell. In a more elaborate sense, transformation is described by the altering of the cell as a result of the uptake or intentional incorporation of dna from an external source. It is one of the three processes for horizontal gene transfer. The other two are transduction (infection of a phage), and conjugation (transfer of dna between two bacterial cells that are directly in contact).

Behavior is often influenced by family and cultural experience. This often affects the nutritional choices and eating habits tha
mariarad [96]
I believe the answer to be C.

This is because A and D would not affect the young adult that much as regular dietary choices are still being applied.

B however only changes on day and would not affect the patient drastically overall.

However, C, incorporating a healthier diet would indeed help shift their nutritional choices to a more healthy path.

Hope this helps!

What is the end result of mitosis and cytokinesis? why is this so important?
makvit [3.9K]
The end result of mitosis is a cell that is exactly the same as the original cell. So, if you have Cell A and cell A goes through mitosis and produces cell B... Cell B is an exact clone/replica of cell A with NO VARIATIONS. It's literally like cloning (Asexual reproduction).

Cytokinesis is part of the cell cycle, it is the last stage where a plate forms between both the cells to separate them from each other and to form two individual cells.

Mitosis is important because it is a fast way of producing replicas of cells. Cytokinesis is important to differentiate or create boundaries between the cells.
