Abnormal vascular regulation by endothelial cells in small vessels of the heart contributes to:___________. a. Hypertension b. D
RUDIKE [14]

Answer: The correct answer to the question is option D

ISCHEMIC HEART DISEASE.

Explanation: To answer the question effectively, let us look at the options given, what they are and how they affect the heart.

Endothelial cells play a crucial role in the regulating vascular tone,They do so by secreting variable amounts of constricting and relaxing factors inorder to control tissue perfusion.

Hypertension on the other hand occurs as a result of factors that varies distinctively and not all related to vascular tone.

Dysrhythmias on it's own will affect the function and conduction of heart chambers but not necessarily vascular tones.

What class of fish exhibit spawning?
Alborosie

Answer:

Spawn is the eggs and sperm released or deposited into water by aquatic animals. As a verb, to spawn refers to the process of releasing the eggs and sperm, and the act of both sexes is called spawning. Most aquatic animals, except for aquatic mammals and reptiles, reproduce through the process of spawning.

Most fish reproduce by spawning, as do most other aquatic animals, including crustaceans such as crabs and shrimps, molluscs such as oysters and squid, echinoderms such as sea urchins and sea cucumbers, amphibians such as frogs and newts, aquatic insects such as mayflies and mosquitoes and corals, which are actually small aquatic animals—not plants. Fungi, such as mushrooms, are also said to "spawn" a white, fibrous matter that forms the matrix from which they grow

During an El Nino, warm water piles off of South America and cold water can't upwell. As a result, the _____________ can't rise
sergij07 [2.7K]

The correct answer is - nutrients.

The cold water is very rich in nutrients, and those nutrients are crucial for the survival of the small organisms as they are their primary food source. When El Nino occurs though, the water is becoming warmer and stops the up-welling of  the cold water, which also means that the nutrients remain deep with it. As a result, the small organisms are left without their primary food sources, thus they struggle to survive, and even die out in the region on a large scale.
