Answer:

Love and Grief are the main ideas in this story.  You must remember that any mother, wherever she is from, and whatever religion she may be, loves her child.  A mother does not love her child differently than someone in another culture.  It is universal.  Not only is it universal, it is eternal.  Mother's have an instinct to protect their young.

In at least 150 words, explain how and why Miller crafted The Crucible as an allegory.
Gnesinka [82]

Arthur Miller crafted The Crucible as an allegory by basing his characters off of real people that went through the Salem Witch Trials. Arthur Miller was called in during the Red Scare and was asked if he ever knew any Communists that threatened America. Miller felt attacked and wrote The Crucible to show how he saw the whole incident. He compared the experience to the court cases in the Witch Trials in which people were forced to betray their friends and family.

If that isn't enough, or what you are looking for, you can finish it, but I have to go so that's all I have right now.

Have a blessed day!

Answer: Book and Movie It is common in today's media-driven society to reach into the past for inspiration and ideas. A trend has developed where original works are transformed into other mediums. For example: books are turned into movies and/or plays, movies are turned into weekly sitcoms, and cartoons will spawn empires (Disney). These things happen so often that an audience rarely stops to question the level of authenticity that remains after these conversions.
