Answer: (x - 1)(x - 23)

Step-by-step explanation:

First, we can factor the x² part:

(x)(x)

Next, we will look at the -24x and +23

-> We need two numbers that multiply to 23 and add to -24

-> 23 is a prime number, so we will use 1 and 23

For -24, 1 and 23 must be added together. Since a negative times a negative is a positive, and a negative plus a negative is a positive, we will turn them into -1 and -23.

This gives us a final answer of:

(x - 1)(x - 23)

Determine whether each pair of ratios are equivalent. Explain (3/5),(9/15)
Lyrx [107]
Multiple both ratios by a least common denominator
the least common denominator for both is 15
multiply the first ratio by 3/3
9/15=9/15
both are equal because when multiplying by the least common denominator you get the same answer

Find the domain of the graphed function.
kow [346]

<u>finding domain: </u>

to find the domain, we are finding all of the x values.

<u>example: </u>

say we have the points: (2,5) (4,8) (1,7) (8,10) (13,2)

the domain would be a list of all of the x values of all of the coordinate points. therefore the domain would be:

<u>domain: </u>

{1,2,4,8,13}

<u>conclusion:</u>

since you have not attached the function or a graph, you will have to find the domain on your own (unless you attach one now). hope this helps!

Difference between translatory and rectilinear motion.
Trava [24]
The difference is in way we observe some object that is moving. In translatory motion each point of the object has to go in straight line. A ball for example when kicked is rolling which means that not all of its oints are going in straight line. Some of points on ball are rotating. On the other hand in rectilinear motion it is only important that object is moving on straight line and it doesnt matter if it is rotating. So kicked ball that moves on ground is example of that.

Example of translatory motion can be our body in a bus that is going in straight line but not that wheels are rotating so they are moving rectilinear.
