Technological advances have given rise to technologies such as Genetically Modified Seeds, which enables humans to grow crops in ares which were usually not favorable for farming.

Similar technologies related to irrigation and farming have completely changed the landscape of countries like Canada.

Humans have now been able to create artificial rain through cloud production and our ingenuity led to the development of completely new seaways through Panama and Suez Canal.

Areas like the Indus Valley Civilization (India), Egypt and China developed advanced civilizations first. Yes, geography played an important role. All of these civilizations had large rivers to support agriculture, Indus river in Indus Valley Civilization, Nile river in Egypt and Yellow river in China.

In conclusion, Cars, Radio, Television. More advanced cars Mobile phones, are all advanced technology.
