This is a Plastered Human Skull that was made in the Neolithic period of human history which means that it was made between 10,000 and 5,000 BC.
It is created by cutting the head of the deceased and then using plaster to fill the cavities and painting it afterward.
There are differing views as to why it was created as some believe that it was a form of commemorating dead ancestors. Others however believe that it was done by people as a way of keeping trophies in a practice known as <em>head hunting</em>.
