So my choir teacher is saying that we can learn whatever part we want, soprano or alto, and I have no clue which one to learn. U

sually I learn soprano, but I don't know if I should stick with that or switch to alto. So my question is, which part should I do?
Also this is totally a school related question so if this gets flagged or taken down I will be very angry. I am asking fir help on a school related subject.
