<h3>To my loving mother,</h3>
First of all, I am writing this letter to let you know that I love you. I have loved you ever since the day I was born and I will love you until the rest of my life. I would like to thank you for bringing me up on this world, shaping me to become a person that I am now. I do not know what I would do without you. Words might not express the love that I have for you but I hope this letter would make you feel how serious I am to let you know that you are the most important person in my life. No one could ever replace you in my life. I remember when I was lost and not thinking clearly and without any doubt you are on my side helping me to get up again, stand up and be responsible for the mess that I did and have done. I hated you when you keep on insisting me to change the set of friends that I thought were my friends. I want you to know that I regret that I did not believe in you not until I have experienced the worst feeling that my so-called friends did to me. You saw me crying and you did not even blame me for making a mistake. You have said that it is okay and everything will be okay. You even told me that making mistakes is a part of life and that I should treat it as a lesson. A lesson that I should be learning and will make me stronger. I have made a lot of terrible mistakes and I even let you get mad and broken. Every day you keep on telling me that you love me and no matter what I do, you are my mother and that will never change. The love you have for me really is amazing, unconditional love that no one else could give. I also appreciate that every day that I go to school, you will not just let me go without eating anything. You told me that I should always eat and not letting myself starve and my health is important. Every time I get sick, those sleepless nights, staying up with me until I fall asleep and waking me up to let me drink my medicines and you will not sleep until you see me tucked in bed and asleep. I want you to know that I feel so lucky and blessed to have you as my mother. If ever I would be born again, I would and will be choosing you over and over. I cannot imagine my life without you. Again, please know that I am extremely sorry for everything that I have done wrong. I have failed you but you are still there to cheer me up to keep me going. I want you to know that I will forever be grateful to you and will continue living my life and become a better person every day. As long as I am breathing, I will be here for you and love you the best way I can.
With lots of love,

4. B
Explanation:
Assuming the text is "Learning How to Code-Switch: Humbling, but Necessary" (2013) and you had to choose between the following claims:
<em>A. Code-switching keeps people from expressing themselves by promoting one correct style of communication.</em>
<em>B. It is important to recognize that code-switching can help a person succeed and celebrate all aspects of their identity.</em>
<em>C. The United States consists of great cultural variety and no one should be discriminated against for speaking a certain way.</em>
<em>D. Many successful people have used code-switching, but it is unfair to expect minorities to have multiple communication styles.</em>
Deggans' thesis is that it is important to recognize that code-switching can help a person succeed and celebrate all aspects of their identity (B).
<u>Code-switching</u> means alternating between languages or communication styles according to the context (cultural, professional, casual, etc.).
Deggans' testimony shows that being able to code-switch is what has helped him to integrate social groups which were different from the poor black neighborhood he came from, while maintaining his identity.
This answer is supported by such such quotes as:
- "expertly navigating another culture wasn’t a rejection of where I’d come from or a signal that I was any less authentically black;"
- "it’s a reminder to be fully who you are at all times, while making sure you’re understood well enough to be valued, respected and considered."
It shows how humans have threatened the life of reptiles while they have lived, by also giving an example of turtles being stuck in the nets. That makes the passage more dramatic and gives the reader an effect of shame, and has left an impact/influence.
Answer:Once you know who your intended audience is and what your purpose is for writing, you can make specific decisions about how to shape your message. No matter what, you want your audience to stick around long enough to read your whole piece. How do you manage this magic trick? Easy. You appeal to them. You get to know what sparks their interest, what makes them curious, and what makes them feel understood. The one and only Aristotle provided us with three ways to appeal to an audience, and they’re called logos, pathos, and ethos. You’ll learn more about each appeal in the discussion below, but the relationship between these three appeals is also often called the rhetorical triangle
Hope this helps! (spent a lot of time on it if you could please give me a brainliest that would be great!
