One would say, the United States is certainly living up to the ideals of the preamble in a fair or just manner.

The US Constitution preamble stated that the United States establishing a "Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity..."

This is evident in the fact that since the creation of the US constitution, there has never been a situation where the military government took over.

Also, the Constitution has always been the guiding principle for the United States government. Thus, no administration has ever worked beyond the power given to it by the Constitution.

This is also evident, as the United States is generally considered the most liberal or land of freedom globally.

Hence, in this case, it is concluded that the United States has so far lived up to the ideals of the preamble.
