The prompt you have been asked to write about is one about a Reflect3ive Speech. The purpose of a Reflective Speech is for the orator to give an account of their experience of a particular event AND how that event has shaped them.

How do you write a Reflective Speech?

It is to be noted that the question is asking the student to assume the role of a noble laureate. That means you may want to study some of the speeches that have been given by Nobel Laureates.

Every great speech must start with proper outlines. One of the easiest outlines to use is the I - MID - C format. I mean introduction. This section is critical because it helps you connect with the audience. One of the best ways to start your speech is to start with a hilarious story.

The next is the MID, which is the midsection or body of the speech.

Assuming you are doing 400 words, your introduction can be about 100. The body is about 200, then the conclusion is another 100.

The conclusion is where you summarize and restate your key points. Finally, get to know your audience beforehand and rehearse your speech over and over again until you are confident about it.

Consider another example, 4x + 8 = 40. In this example, we are looking for a number when multiplied by 4 and added 8 to it will give 40. We can try to figure out this number through guessing and checking. Eventually we will find that 8 is the replacement for x. However, with a systematic procedure of solving equations, we can easily solve that problem without going through the throes of guessing and Math Skills for Business- Full Chapters 2 checking. Before we start learning that procedure for solving equations, let us try to understand the meanings of like terms and unlike terms.

Act 1 scene 2 of the tragedy of Julius Caesar
What moral dilemma does this excerpt express?
JulsSmile [24]

Answer: Brutus has to decide between loyalty to Caesar and his own honor.

Explanation:

This excerpt expresses the main dilemma of the whole play - that is, the conflict between being a loyal friend and one's own honor.

In Shakespeare's Julius Caesar, a group of conspirators decides to murder the roman general, Caesar, because he has assumed too much power. They do not want him to become a king. In Act I, Scene II, Brutus, a friend of Caesar's, confesses his true feelings. As he hears that people want Caesar to assume this position, he makes a confession to Cassius, one of the conspirators, that he would not like this to happen. As he puts it, he does love Caesar, but loves his honor more. He is not even afraid of death, if that is the price he has to pay.
