A bag valve mask (BVM), sometimes known by the proprietary name Ambu bag or generically as a manual resuscitator or "<em>self-inflating bag</em>", is a hand-held device commonly used to provide positive pressure ventilation to patients who are not breathing or not breathing adequately.
In this circumstance, I should use a CPR mask with one-way valve. The one-way valve is a good protection for the rescuers. Air flows directly into the lungs of the patients, and air from other sources is not allowed to come into contact. This also prevents contamination.
