The person who accompanies the speaker in the poem titled Tintern Abbey is found to be; His Sister

Who is the companion of the speaker in the poem?

The full title of the poem was "Lines Composed a Few Miles Above Tintern Abbey," written by In William Wordsworth's .

In the poem, we see that the speaker is visiting a place he has seen once before. However, this time, he sees it in a different way and as such the speaker is now able to stop and appreciate the natural beauty right before his eyes.

Finally wee see that his companion is his sister because he said the following;

"For thou art with me here upon the banks

.......May I behold in thee what I was once,

My dear, dear Sister!"

If f(x)=(x+3)³+4
let g(x)=f(x+1)-2
find when g(x)=12
Alla [95]

Answer:

Explanation:

g(x) = f(x + 1) - 2

g(x) = (x + 1 + 3)^3 -2

g(x) = (x + 4)^3 - 2

Now what are we supposed to do with this? I'm guessing we are to find what value of x will make g(x) = 12. If I'm wrong, leave a note in the form of a comment.

g(x) = 12

(x + 4)^3 - 2 = 12                 Add 2 to both sides.

(x + 4)^3 = 14                      Take the cube root of both sides.

x + 4 = cubrt(14)

x + 4 = 2.4101                      Subtract 4

x = 2.4101 - 4

x = -1.5899
