The cost to buy 10 notebooks and 16 desktop computers is $5550

Cost of notebook computers = $275

Cost of desktop computers = $175 each

The cost to buy 10 notebooks and 16 desktop computers will be:

= 275(10) + 175(16)

= 2750 + 2800

= $5550

The cost to buy n notebooks and d desktop computers will be:

= 275(n) + 175(d)

= 275n + 175d
