England, where the military consisted in part of volunteers, also rushed to demobilize its force. World War I was one of the devastating war in Europe. During that period the total casualty was about 40 million including civilian and military. For preventing war in future that causes destruction and death, Allied powers limit the military size. The Central Powers (German, Austria-Hungary and later joined by Ottoman Turkey and Bulgaria) military size reduced. German was forced to sign the Treaty of Versailles, which ended World War I and placed Germans in humiliation. The German military restricted with minimum arms and ammunition and no airships.
