It is important we study Elizabeth II because she is the longest reingning monarch of England.

  • Queen Elizabeth held position with the British common wealth for 56 years as the Queen. She is a international figure who mentors both young and old especially women to stay focus in their career.

Other notable people are:

  • Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf of Liberia who was the first elected female head of state. She achieved this after spending long years in prison for criticizing the Liberia government. She is educated and successful.

  • Margaret Thatcher is a prime minister in Britain. She is regarded as an iron lady because of her participation in the fall of communism. She is a mother with 2 children.
