Answer:

The responding variable of this experement is the outcome and that would be that the one in lemon juice responded and the one in water didn't (the other one is the control). Thus the responding varible is the one in lemon juice.

A cube of ice melts in a beaker to form 10 g of water. What is the best estimate of the mass of the ice cube?
prohojiy [21]
I think the answer is 10g
when you freeze a specific amount of water into an ice cube, only the form and the density is changed, while the mass will be pretty much the same.
Probably the mass of the melted water will be a little bit less than the cube (if count the mass that released to the air) , but the amount will NOT BE SIGNIFICANT.

2Na + Cl₂ --> 2NaCl, if you start with 0.50 mol of sodium and you ultimately produce 0.43 mol in lab, what is your percent yi
sineoko [7]

Answer:

86% is the percent yield of the reaction

Explanation:

Percent yield is defined as 100 times the ratio of actual yield / theoretical yield.

Based on the reaction:

2Na + Cl₂ → 2NaCl

The theoretical yield is 0.50 moles because 0.50 mol of Na are added in the beginning. As 0.43 moles are produced, actual yield is 0.43 mol. And percent yield is:

0.43mol / 0.50mol * 100 =

86% is the percent yield of the reaction
