d1i1m1o1n [39]
Comfort food is food that makes your body release Endorphin, Dopamine and Serotonin, which are the happiness hormones. Comfort food brings stress levels down dramatically. Some, but not all, comfort foods contain high fat, which can lead to high cholesterol levels in the blood, which increases the risk for heart disease. Also, it can lead to excess fat, making it more difficult to complete physical exercise. Serotonin is one of the happiness hormones, meaning if you ingest it, not only will your stress levels reduce, but your happiness will too.
