Which rhetorical element is included in this passage from president lincolns second inaugural address? ethos pathos theme thesis
enot [183]
You could say that he appealed to pathos. It's an appeal to emotion while ethos is to credibility. He used pathos to speak about sad things like secession and about the evils of slavery and why it should end. He didn't have to appeal to credibility because he was already the president so everyone knew why he was competent.

Would you recommend the movie to a friend ? How did the movie connect to what happened this year?
Zigmanuir [339]
I would definitely recommend this movie to a friend. With everything going on this year, many people are confused and asking why? Why should we support the movement? Why are people so outraged? This movie will help them understand the power the Black Lives Matter Movement has on the world. It’s tremendously informational and entertaining.

How do scientists believe people crossed from Asia to North America
erik [133]
There's some disagreement on exactly how and when, but "through Alaska" is a pretty good consensus.
There's a location in the Bering Strait where Asia and North America are only separated by about 60 miles, with a pair of islands in the middle allowing that to be broken into two journeys of about 30 miles each. There are two main theories, and many scientists believe both. One is that the first people came to North America across the Bering Strait from Siberia to present day Alaska in bands of hunters searching for food (c. 1050 B.C.) The other theory is that people came by boat from the Asian continent, going down the Western coast of North America.
