A. 5, Six ads have more than 25 words, but one ad has more than 50.
A. 204, We can estimate the percentage of shoppers that bought less than 30 items to be 25+15+10. Our estimation equals about 200 shoppers. Now, our estimation was a little low, so 204 is a logical answer.

How do you solve multi step equations with variables
alina1380 [7]
To solve a equation you must first get the variables on the same side of the equal sign. Example: Add -2.5y to both sides so that the variable remains one side only. Now isolate the variable by subtracting 10.5 from both sides. multiply both sides by 10 so that 0.5y becomes 5y, then divide by 5.

If 2 people can paint 2 fences in 5 hours, how many hours in all will it take for 8 people to paint 8 fences.
Inessa [10]

Answer:

I believe that it would take 5 hours for 8 people to paint 8 fences.

Step-by-step explanation:

If 2 people are painting 2 fences in 5 hours, then 8 people can also paint 8 fences in the same time because each person is painting one fence. It take 5 hours to paint 1 fence if 1 person is painting it. The same goes for 2 or 8 people painting the same amount of fences as there are people. Im not 100% sure if this is accurate but I hope it helps.

Answer:

1. >; 2. >

Step-by-step explanation:

1.

     ⅜ (?) 0.295 Convert ⅜ to a decimal fraction

0.375 (?) 0.295

We can use a number line to decide which number is greater.

In Fig. 1 below, when we go from 0.295 to 0.375, we are moving to the RIGHT, so 0.375 is greater than 0.295.

0.375 > 0.295

2.

-0.770 (?) -4/5 Convert ⅘ to a decimal fraction

-0.770 (?) -0.800

In Fig. 2 below, when we go from -0.80 to -0.77, we are moving to the RIGHT, so -0.770 is greater than -0.800.

-0.770 > -0.800
